The Artist Stacy Bledsoe

Stacy Bledsoe — Professional Artist

Stacy Bledsoe is a professional artist living and working abroad. From 2010 to 2022, she taught English as a second language, including serving as a university-level instructor from 2013 to 2019.

A native of Kansas in the United States, Stacy began studying art and photography during her early years. Her formal education includes a degree in Commercial and Advertising Arts from Salina Area Technical College and a degree in Studio Arts.

Stacy has worked as a freelance commissioned artist since 1998 and is accomplished in a variety of artistic mediums, with a primary focus on graphite, pastel, and colored pencil. Her artistic repertoire encompasses a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, animals, automobiles, still life, and the human figure.

For more than two decades, Stacy has devoted particular attention to developing her techniques in realistic portraiture, with an emphasis on capturing the detail, character, and individuality of the human figure. Her highly detailed approach has resulted in hundreds of commissioned portraits, each created with careful attention to quality and craftsmanship.

When she is not working on commissioned pieces, Stacy continues to refine her skills by creating portraits and illustrations of Hollywood stars and other notable figures for artistic practice and educational purposes.

Stacy's artwork has been publicly exhibited at several venues, including:
